SUV Runs into Brookline House

Just after 9am this morning I responded to a reported vehicle into a house at the rear of Starbucks on Route 9 in Chestnut Hill. A female operator accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brakes and crashed into the side of a house. She was not injured but extensive structural damage was evident.

2 Alarm Apartment Fire in Norwood

Just after 1:30 this afternoon I responded to a 2nd alarm fire in an apartment complex at 103 Bahama Drive in Norwood. The fire was contained to one unit and knocked down faily quickly. The occupants of the apartment were unable to return to the apartment except to gather valuables. No injuries reported.
