To Be or Not to Be Photographed

Today was an interesting day. I was interviewed by the Brookline TAB, which I often have my work published in, about my fire photography career. To make things worse, I was photographed holding some of my photos. I must have sounded like I have a stuttering problem and was definitely uncomfortable in front of the camera and talking about myself. Neal, the assistant TAB Editor was great and tried to make me feel comfortable. I definitely belong behind a camera! Anyways, we will see how the article comes out next week but in the future...my answer to the title question is definitely NOT TO BE!! Thanks Neal for taking an interest in me and my work!!

Brookline House Fire

Brookline Firefighters made a terrific stop this morning at a house fire at 241 Kent Street. A police officer on a road detail noticed smoke coming from the house which was under construction and immediately notfied the fire department. Deputy Chief Colie O'Connell struck a 2nd alarm to bring additional manpower to the scene after learning an acetylene tank was inside. A very swift and aggressive interior attack minimized damage. It appears a plumber's torch was the cause. On the humorous side, must have been a sight to see with a Firefighter helping my fragile and clumsy self cross puddles and ice. Note to self and confirmed by the Jakes..wear boots to a fire moron!!
