A perfect morning for an ice rescue drill with high winds and COLD! Brookline Jakes from Group 3 participated in an ice rescue drill this morning at Jamaica Pond. Great learning experience for me as well!
I have been a public safety photographer for about 24 years. I started out when I was about 13 years old chasing my father's calls when he was a career Firefighter in Brookline, MA from 1966 to 2002 with a Pentax K1000 camera. In 1984, I began my professional career. I am the President of the International Fire Photographers Association, Senior Correspondent for 1st Responder Newspaper and contributor to many publications and websites.
