So 2008 is on the way out and we are currently in the middle of a big snowstorm. Boston had a 3 alarm fire about 10am on Tuttle Street in Dorchester. I did not venture in due to the snow starting to pile up on the roads. Accidents are being reported all over the place.
2009 should prove to be an interesting year. I take office as the President of the International Fire Photographers Association tomorrow and have been working my butt off for 2 months trying to get the Associations's affairs in order. So far so good and hopefully things will run smoothly. I have a great team so it should be fun once we get on solid ground.
I hope everyone has a safe and fun time celebrating New Year's Eve and that 2009 will be good to you. A special thanks to my friends and colleagues for making 2008 a fun year. Thanks to Pat Travers, Dave Stewart, Dave Weimer, Jack Carr, Bill Noonan, Katie Cook, Keith Flaherty, and many more. Extra special thanks to my parents and my sister Joanne. They are my inspiration and my best friends. I only hope I have lived up to your expectations over the years.
