Small Fire at West Roxbury High School

Just about 9:00am this morning a small fire broke out on the 2nd floor at the West Roxbury High School in District 10. Engine 30 and Ladder 25 were stilled out and this is a common run so I didn't pay much attention until Ladder 25 reported smoke in the building and ordered the box struck. I took a ride seeing as it was only a 5 minute drive and nothing was showing from the outside. So I don't feel I ever wasted a trip, I always take a few photos. On a side note, I can't believe it is so quiet lately. Maybe the calm before the storm.

MVA In West Roxbury

Just before 7:30pm tonight I responded to a motor vehicle crash on Centre Street at Temple in the West Roxbury section of Boston. No injuries but there was a good distance between the truck and car after the impact.

Christmas and New Toys

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all enjoy a safe day with your family. The weather is almost spring like outside but windy. Crazy New England weather!

Santa was good to me this year (must have been a good boy for once) and brought me a new lens. The lens is a Sigma 18-200 OC Digital Zoom and the thing is a beast! I will be out playing with it later today after family time!

Huge Snowstorm

We had 3 days of snow this weekend which pretty much paralyzed most of New England. Now it is in the teens and everything is freezing up like the North Pole. Wonder if they need any photographers down south?
