Country Club Fire and More Weather

Last night just before 6pm, a chimney caught fire at the Brookline Country Club. There was a black tie dinner going on and people all over the place in the best clothes. The fire caused minor damage and produced a lot of smoke. Garth Brooks said it right..."I showed up in boots and ruined your black tie affair".

We are expecting a foot of snow or more today with a wild winter storm. People will not learn and stay home despite the warnings. It was a year ago we had a similar storm that paralyzed the state and people were stranded in their cars for hours. Probably will happen today as well.

Horrific Scene in Hyannis

Tuesday night about 10pm, the charred remains of a 16 year old boy was found in a 10 foot deep pit in Hyannis on Cape Cod. According to reports from public safety personnel, the boy's body was still burning when police and fire arrived. What kind of person(s) could do this to another human being? File under...this ticks me off!!

Scituate House Explosion

A house exploded in Scituate, MA this afternoon killing one person and causing damage to several neighboring homes. The Massachusetts State Fire Marshal is investigating but it appears the cause is natural gas.
