Introduction

Welcome to On Scene: Diary of a Public Safety Photographer. I created this blog for several reasons but primarily to give me a place to share what I experience out in the street. I guess you can say I am an adrenaline junkie and the wail of a siren will always get my attention no matter what I am doing.

The blog will be set up diary style instead of just a few photos and a blurb about what was happening at the scene. There are many emotions that run through me while chasing calls. Dealing with Boston traffic, boredom at times, people watching in the city, the great hunt for a restroom and my thoughts on fast food and coffee. There are funny things that go on, events that anger me, sadness and a sense of wonderment at what goes on in certain people's minds when they do questionable things.
