Brookline MVA Snarls Rush Hour Traffic

Just about 4:30pm, I responded to a reported motor vehicle crash at Hammond Pond Parkway and Heath Street. Normally rush hour traffic at this intersection is horrible but when a crash occurs it is a nightmare. Three vehicles including a deliver van were involved and thankfully there was only one injury which was non life threatening. State PD and Brookline PD blocked off the Parkway causing a traffic standstill for about 30 minutes.
